Sentara Health is hiring a Full-time, Day Shift, Administrative Associate for Sentara Leigh Hospital located in Norfolk, VA.

Hours/Shift:

Full-time, Day Shift (12-hour shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.) Working Monday through Friday and every other weekend.

Facility and Position Overview:

As an Administrative Associate, you will provide administrative support to the unit/department(s) you are assigned to. You will serve as the first point of contact for patients, family members and visitors coming into the unit. The Administrative Assistant position requires the application of excellent customer service skills as well as excellent computer and clerical skills.

One of the following is required:

One year of previous work experience in a medical office OR One year or more of previous work experience in customer service OROne year or more of previous work experience in a call center OROne year or more of previous clerical experience ORAssociate or bachelor’s level degree.

Education Required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
