ADMIN OFFICER - AO - Corporate Services

DVSA - The primary aim of the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency is to promote road safety in Great Britain by improving driving standards.

Role Overview:

To provide admin support for the day-to-day management and control of buildings and accommodation across the DVSA CEM team portfolio to meet the business needs and aspirations of the Agency. To ensure that all payments due in respect of the DVSA estate are processed in accordance with lease/license/contract obligations and Agency policies

An excellent package is offered, including:

£12.36 per hour pay rateStarting as soon as you have passed clearance checks until mid June 2025Accrual of up to 33 days paid annual leave pro rata available (inclusive of bank holidays)Working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5pmThis role will be based in Nottingham, fully onsiteFull training given

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

Dealing with the post and emails in the invoices inboxScanning of files during any downtimeArranging landlord visits to sites with the operational team and ensuring they are carried outDealing with general estate matters, queries regarding landlords works on the building, not the facilities side of things thoughHandling rent payments, rates and service charges, acquisitions and disposalCommunicating effectively with landlords and handling any issues that need resolvingRaising purchase orders on the SAP system for service charges, utilities, casual/room hires and good receiptMaintaining the Corporate Estates Management Finance database with service charge, business rates and insurance payments for all sites



What are we looking for?

Confident in the use of Microsoft packagesAttention to detail with the ability to engage with dataExcellent verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to work to deadlines and adapt to changing circumstancesComfortable liaising with stakeholders, landlords, as well as operational teamsExperience in the financial sector - banking, accounts, data management/inputtingDesireable - procurement experience
