Job Description

Our client HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is an agency of the Ministry of Justice. HMCTS provides administrative support for the legal system across England and Wales, ensuring justice works for everyone.

We are currently recruiting for an Admin Officer to work with one of our fantastic Public Sector clients in Leamington town centre

This a 6-month temporary position initially, with good chance of extension but one in which you would be able to gain valuable exposure/experience working within the Public Sector.

If you have worked within the public sector before this would be advantageous but not essential. If you have transferable experience, then we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities and duties;
Basic admin duties which include booking on Committals, answering telephone calls and emails. Referring and responding to work from the Judiciary.

" Is aware of customer needs and is polite and efficient in dealing with these.
" Passes on important information to all concerned promptly and clearly, with tact and honesty.

" Is approachable, non-judgmental, honest and respects confidences in dealing with others.
" Treats all colleagues fairly and is sensitive to their needs as individuals.

Candidate requirements:
" Have previous experience within an administration role (preferable)
" Will require knowledge of Microsoft software (word, excel etc) and Office applications.
" Be able to remain calm under pressure
" Be able to work with very confidential and sensitive information
" Be able to provide 3 years of referencing and pass a basic DBS check

Standard hours are 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday (Between 8.30am - 5.30pm)
Pay rate of £11.59 per hour for the first 12 weeks, then increasing to £11.88 per hour, which is paid weekly.
