Job Description

Description: AO candidates will primarily be allocated to either support roles (uploading, allocating work) or casework roles. These will be online applications where the individual will have to assess documentation supporting applications, for example from individuals wanting to enter the UK to visit. Face-to-face training will be delivered, and on-line/peer/manager guidance will be provided. All staff are expected to work to daily targets and performance will be monitored against quantity produced as well as the quality and accuracy of decision.
AO's who may be asked to move onto Casework will -

use guidance and policy to consider and make well-judged decisions on customer applications, considering options, to daily targets with performance being monitored against quantity produced as well as the quality and accuracy of decision.Articulate non-complex decisions in a concise, clear manner verbally and in writingUndertake effective management of a non-complex caseloadSupport colleagues to deliver performance of a high standardDeliver against timeliness and quality targets, providing excellent customer serviceManage team in-boxes and draft complex responses to customers

Experience Needed/desired:

Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong IT skills, including being proficient in the use of MS Office packages including Word, Excel, and OutlookTime management, including ensuring that you complete and record your allotted daily working hours accurately. Organisation skills, including an ability to identify and prioritise urgent workTeam workingDecision-makingBeing flexible and adaptable, reacting positively to changes in policies, processes, and work environments.

Desirable: Speak Turkish
