These teams provide the following services to the department: Assist internal staff with Human Resources, Purchasing, Information Technology, and Facilities Maintenance and serves as a liaison to these departments and divisions. Manage the department budget. Coordinate open records requests. Work closely with department leadership to drive employee development and engagement initiatives. The Deputy Division Director reports to the Administration Division Director. Essential Duties + Actively collaborates with other departments and divisions within the department to maintain effective working relationships and enhance service delivery; + Assists with the development and implementation of the department’s annual budget, including budget reporting, procurement, and approving purchase orders and financial transactions; + Reviews personnel actions and makes hiring and disciplinary recommendations to department leadership; + Oversees the collection and review of data and prepares reports for use by department leadership to assist decision-making; + Provides managerial and supervisory support to the Office Services and Employee Development Sections; + Manages special projects for the Administration Division Director and department leadership. + The successful candidate will exhibit servant leadership and excel at the following: problem solving, managing and executing multiple tasks and projects, adapting to a rapidly changing environment, communication, ability to manage and mentor, and collaboration and team-building skills. Grade The grade for this position is 108. Salary will be dependent on education and experience. Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
