Position Description
Provides oversight and direction for select quality improvement projects. Works directly with Radiation Oncology leaders and physicians to follow up on open activities within teams and task forces. Ensures compliance with American College of Radiology (ACR) certification. Oversees physician schedules for all employed Radiation Oncologists.
Position Requirements
REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor Degree in health related field required, Masters Degree preferred.
2. A proven track record that demonstrates leadership ability with effective analytic and communication skills
3. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational ability, objective judgment, self-direction and motivation
4. Ability to function effectively with a wide variety of disciplines
5. Working knowledge of team dynamics/team work concepts
6. Other duties as assigned by Director.
PREFERRED:
1. Ideal candidate should have work Flow processing, and critical thinking abilities.
2. LEAN process improvement.
3. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
4. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
