PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Legal is a multiple faceted organization within SAP Finance whose primary mission is based upon corporate functions with contractual and legal responsibilities. Its legal specializations include Corporate and Capital Market Law as well as related functions such as Global Insurance Risk Management.
SAP’s Global Insurance Risk Management function oversees all of SAP’s worldwide business insurance and risk financing activities and provides risk management support. Its responsibilities include the purchase of global insurance programs, settlement of insurance claims and management of supplier relationships. The team provides best practices as a service organization for SAP SE and its subsidiaries worldwide.
The Corporate and Capital Market Law team is responsible for all corporate law matters of SAP SE and its worldwide subsidiaries, including the Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting of SAP SE, the Supervisory Board of SAP, SAP’s Corporate Governance, foundation, organization and reorganizations of the SAP subsidiaries. In addition the team provides legal advice for treasury and finance matters and oversees SAP SE’s capital market obligations both in Germany and the US.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
We are looking for a dedicated Administration Specialist who will support the heads of Global Insurance and Corporate and Capital Market Law and their teams in all administrative tasks, daily offices functions and duties, as well perform specific department related tasks.
Managing and maintaining legal and insurance databases, files; Assist with preparation and execution of corporate law related documents, filings, and agreements Support marketing of global insurance and broker contracts and related processes, including coordination via internal systems like Persuit and SAP’s purchasing organization Coordination and monitoring of the invoicing, payment, and budget process for insurance policies as well as external consultants like law firms Managing Workflows and monitoring items like vacation requests, purchase orders, internal orders, distribution lists, Inventory etc. Assist with the preparation and coordination of the meetings of the SAP Supervisory Board Arranging and coordinating internal and external meetings Coordination and preparation of travel arrangements, travel expense management
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Excellent organization skills and a high level of professionalism and flexibility Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a complex environment Fully committed to discretion and loyalty Ability to work under pressure, stay calm in fast-paced situations Ability to handle confidential information Team oriented, self-directed, dedicated and responsible Professional MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point), knowledge of SAP internal systems preferred Excellent in German and English both verbal and written, very good communication skills overall Experience in legal and/or insurance a plus
