The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Student Services department.

Responsibilities

Assist in office clerical duties including, but not limited to the following:

Manage filing system for the department Maintaining COM student filesResponsible for front desk reception that includes answering incoming department calls, welcoming students, guests, and visitors, providing program information, and directing students to the appropriate officeHandles general clerical needs of the office: copying, faxing, filing, and responding to telephone inquiriesAssist with COM functions, ceremonies, open houses etc.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education/ExperienceHigh School Diploma/GED Eqvlnt required.Associate in Arts preferred.High School Diploma or GED 1 year administrative experienceKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesGeneral administrative duties (required)Strong interpersonal skillsWell organizedBasic knowledge of Microsoft OfficeWorking ConditionsSitting for long periods of timeAble to lift 5 lbs Maximum Salary USD $35,493.00/Yr.
