Administrative Assistant, Global Banking

Administrative Assistants provide broad gauge support, principally secretarial / administrative tasks. Role holders will exercise confidentiality, tact and diplomacy and will have sufficient expertise in their area to appropriately support their department. Treating all constituents like clients, with a service-oriented attitude, is a must.

As our Administrative Assistant, Global Banking you will:

You will be responsible for organizing schedules, maintaining diaries, arranging travel and accommodationsPrepare and submit complex team expense reports in an accurate and timely manner with a thorough knowledge of the expense management systemMaintain the utmost level of confidentiality in all aspects of work and interaction with their team and others as neededCoordinate activities, events, resources, meetings, services and managing internal and external stakeholdersSupport administration, composing presentations, drafting reports, and assisting with key documentsManage external relationships and service providers, including regulatory stakeholders and other senior parties requiring highly sensitive handling and communicationMay require work outside of traditional “day shift” hours, which will be covered by overtime compensation policies

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $71,700.00 and $105,000.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

Typically, 7 years of administrative experience in a large professional setting. Ideally, recent experience supporting Global Banking specificallyProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applications with excellent typing skillsExceptional communication skills, problem solving, organizational and project management skillsAbilities to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality on all confidential mattersAbility to deal with all levels of personnel and external partiesUphold the highest level of integrity and act as a role model for all HSBC values and business principlesCommunicate information, knowledge, and ideas with the team as relevant or appropriateDemonstrate a commitment to excellence and perform to the highest standards
