Administrative Assistant, Regulatory & Legal

Your Opportunity as the Administrative Assistant, Regulatory & Legal

Provide a meaningful impact to our organization through supporting key leaders and their respective departments in a variety of company projects and initiatives. Leverage your superior organizational skills to coordinate onsite meetings and virtual engagements, submitting expense reports with an eye to department budgets, and lending a perspective on department presentations and contracts.

Location: Orrville, OH

Work Arrangements: 30% in office expectation (at least 2 days a week in office)

In this role you will:

Support coordination of meetings and travel arrangements for key leaders of the department.

Run monthly budget reports, input data, prepare expense reports, and keep teams updated on changes and reporting.

Create and update presentation decks and other materials as needed.

Draft and issue department wide communications and assist in external communication with third party consultants and law firms.

Prepare documents for various filings with government agencies (could include filings for packaging requirements, patents, trademarks, etc.)

Facilitate product registrations to various required states and respond to inquiries on behalf of the pet business and maintain current records of active company product registrations.

Manage department tracking documents from internal Call Center inquiries and assist in escalating concerns to the respective team in our Regulatory department.

Accurately enter and update Regulatory owned data attributes in company systems (e.g., Riversand), to support downstream systems and processes, including data sync with customers.

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

Associate's Degree

2+ years of experience in an administrative role

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent listening skills

Strong attention to detail

Strong time management skills and prioritization skills

Ability to build and maintain organizational relationships

Ability to adapt to changing requirements and act with a sense of urgency

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role (not required):

Experience with Riversand, Prodika, or Genesis software systems
