Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant to undertake a variety of client driven data and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of ensuring that our engineering operations run business activities smoothly and efficiently. An excellent Engineering Administrative Assistant is, above all, an organized and competent professional with phenomenal communication skills, who is comfortable dealing with people, and able to carry out administrative duties with accuracy and speed. The goal is to ensure that operations are efficient successful in supporting both the client and team members while adding maximum value to the organization.
Job Duties
Assist and maintain joint use applications, client proposals, and data management within clients specific software
Record data logs across multiple spreadsheets for real time accuracy
Effectively communicate between team members and clients.
Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
Maintain files and records with effective filing systems
Support other teams with various administrative tasks (redirecting calls, disseminating correspondence, scheduling meetings, etc.)
Assist in vendor relationship management
Qualifications
Proven experience working in an office supporting position or in a similar role
Experience in customer service
Experience with high volume data management
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and Google Suite
Comfortable with using computer software, and capable of learning new processes and adapting to change quickly
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask
Reliable with patience and professionalism
Telecommunications Utility knowledge training provided, previous knowledge is a plus
Associate’s/College degree; BS/Ba in business administration or relevant field is a plus
Additional Information
Candidates must be comfortable working full time with a minimum of 40 - 45 hours per week. Compensation based on experience.
