Our flagship transitional work program– Ready, Willing & Able– integrates paid work, occupational training, and holistic supportive services to facilitate an individual’s return to mainstream society.

We are presently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join the Doe Fund family. This position will be based out of our Brooklyn facility. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the clerical and administrative duties at the facility. The successful candidate will have good communication, organizational, and computer skills, along with an understanding of working with special needs populations.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer and screen phone calls; take accurate messages Welcome all guests to The Doe Fund Filing (electronic / hardcopy), photocopying & scanning Handle confidential information appropriately Complete required reports Ensure that the Trainee payroll is submitted weekly as per the deadline  Perform other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate:

You have great interpersonal/organizational skills You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat You are highly organized, able to set and follow priorities, flexible in adjusting to changing work needs, and capable of working quickly You are a self-starter and a team player with excellent follow through You are able to work in a team environment
