Screens visitors and telephone calls to the ADA. Responds to non-technical administrative requests and directs complex or technical requests to the ADA or appropriate personnel. Ensures requests are expeditiously processed and complaints are resolved. Serves as administrative liaison between Assistant District Administrator and staff. 25%Schedules appointments and special meetings, coordinates staff representation at meetings, establishes appointment priorities, and prepares reference materials needed. Records and types the minutes at public and intradepartmental meetings. Schedules and coordinates public hearings and employee meetings at the district headquarters. Schedules travel arrangements for the Assistant District Administrator and other personnel as requested. Prepares travel authorizations. Saves payroll and fiscal expenditure electronic files into File Net for the Engineering Office. Maintains address files, telephone lists, fax list, key logs, and updated rosters for Office of Engineering use.
