Administrative Assistant

Our client, a well known manufacturer and distributor, is looking for a Fulfillment Administrative to join their team in Bakersfield, CA. This role supports Shipping, Scheduling, and Procurement operations by executing daily shipment dispatch plans, maintaining ERP data, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials and information across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and execute the daily Shipment Dispatch plan, adapting to changes as neededSupport Supply Chain and Scheduling Managers in achieving fulfillment goalsUtilize Excel, Word, and ERP systems to track and update operational dataReceive and maintain purchase orders; resolve PO issues and support vendor relationsAssist with production scheduling, inventory checks, and MES data verificationProcess shipments and provide tracking updates; maintain shipment logs and documentationCommunicate effectively with management and provide task status updatesFollow safety procedures in warehouse and manufacturing areas

Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilitiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsMinimum 2+ years of administrative or office experience preferredAbility to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Pay & Schedule:

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
