Description Administrative Assistant – Engineering Department Location: Bergen County, NJ Industry: Chemical Manufacturing Type: Full-Time | Onsite Join a collaborative, employee-friendly work environment at a leading chemical manufacturer in Bergen County, NJ. We’re currently seeking a highly organized, proactive Administrative Assistant to support our dynamic team of engineers. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and enjoys taking initiative while providing essential administrative and project-based support. Key Responsibilities: · Provide day-to-day administrative support to a team of approximately 5 engineers. · Assist in the preparation and formatting of technical memos, reports, and project deliverables. · Ensure timely tracking, organization, and transit of project documents and deliverables. · Help update and maintain standard engineering documentation and procedures. · Serve as a liaison with vendors, coordinating communications and managing updates as needed. · Utilize strong organizational skills to support multiple ongoing projects with minimal supervision. · Manage schedules, email communications, and other clerical tasks to support project timelines. Requirements Qualifications: · 2+ years of administrative or project support experience in a technical, industrial, or engineering setting preferred. · Familiarity with chemical manufacturing or plant environments is a plus. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · High level of attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. · Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple priorities. · Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). · Experience with SharePoint or other document management systems is a plus.
