Job Summary:
Performs administrative duties for an individual, group, or
department. Performs complex tasks and completes assignments with little or no
assistance. Works under limited supervision with latitude for independent
judgement. May make contacts of sensitive, complex, and confidential nature.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions
-Answers and transfers phone calls
-Manage schedules, arrange appointments and itineraries
-Coordinate meetings, travel, conference calls, and complete
expense reports
-Create and edit documents, spreadsheets and presentations
-Prepare reports, meeting minutes and correspondence
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
-High School Diploma
-4+ years of experience
-Communication skills
-Organization skills
-Interpersonal skills
-Computer skills
Additional information:
Contract length: 12 weeks, with the possibility of being
able to apply for a full time position.
Schedule: 8am-4:30pm (but could be semi flexible as long as
they are there for core business hours), could do 7-3:30pm if the candidate
needed to use the bus from Bangor.
Location: 100% onsite in Bar Harbor
Must have’s from H.M.:
-Expert in Outlook
-Travel coordination experience
- Communication skills/customer service
Nice to haves from H.M.:
-Understanding of Excel
-Event coordination
-Positive team first attitude (One Team, One JAX)
