Administrative Assistant

Weyerhaeuser has an opening for an Administrative Assistant to join our Southern Oregon Region. This position will be based in Springfield, Oregon, primarily supporting the Springfield team and will report to the Springfield Area Manager. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support for the members of the team to help facilitate and ensure safe and efficient operations. This is a full time, non-exempt position, with salary level dependent on skills and experience.

Key Functions

Role model safety and support the administrative duties for health and safety program and Weyerhaeuser’s audit processContract administration – set up and maintain contracts for the harvesting, engineering, forestry, and land use functionsManage purchasing and invoicing processes for the operationsPresentation preparation, spreadsheet creation and maintenance, database creation and maintenanceServe as the site contact for a variety of employees, outside agencies, contractors, and general publicSupport the staff by being the site contact for contracted services and building maintenance, administer and coordinate ship/receive parcels and mail, maintain general office supplies, and help with scheduling/meeting preparation (room reservations, meals, and logistics)Participate on project teams and/or provide back up and support to work on special projects or other duties as assignedWork as a team with other region admins to flow the assigned work between areas to support the Southern Oregon Regionobjectives as requested

Desired Qualifications

Associates Degree (or higher) in business or related fieldContract administration experienceKnowledge of or previous experience with the following programs - Power BI, LIMS, SAP, CAPS and ABECAS

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $44,606 - $66,978 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
