Administrative Assistant
Adecco is currently assisting a great client in their search for an experienced **Administrative Assistant** in **Newport News, VA.** **Type:** 40hrs/wk. Contract **Start Date:** Within two to three weeks. **Location:** Near the intersect of **Bluecrab Road** and **Canon Blvd** in Newport News, VA. Please make sure this commute works for you prior to applying. **Pay:** $18.12 to $ 18.12/hr **Length:** Long Term **Hours** : 8am to 5pm; M-F **PLEASE NOTE:** This is an onsite, in-office role. No other options available. Responsibilities for the **Administrative Assistant** role include: + Retrieve data from information systems, such as invoices, tax exemption certificates, business licenses, etc. in support of government audits. + Respond to requests from customers and vendors for copies of tax documents, such as W-9 forms, business licenses, sales tax exemption certificates, etc. and assist in maintaining the repository of such commonly requested forms. + Manually uploading certificates and data validation in company system.Follow established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective clerical support. + Gather, compile, and verify information and enter it accurately into documents (such as reports, presentations, or forms) and office systems (such as SharePoint sites, databases, billing software, or spreadsheets). Qualifications for this **Administrative Assistant** role: + Completed High School Diploma or GED. + Must have excellent attendance. + 1-3 years Microsoft Office products (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) + 1-3 years Administrative experience. + Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company, including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures. **Pay Details:** $18.12 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
