Job Description
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and correspondents. This role will assist all parties doing business, including faculty, staff, and students. You will manage the distribution and tracking of keys, copier access, and parking passes. Additionally, you will be a general resource for direct inquiries from faculty, staff, and students, process travel reimbursements via Concur, and serve as the point of contact for questions regarding transaction policy and procedure. You will also help in planning and coordinating department-wide events along with other administrative staff, as well as assist with onboarding and offboarding of faculty, staff, and students.
Responsibilities
+ Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and correspondents.
+ Assist faculty, staff, and students with various administrative needs.
+ Manage the distribution and tracking of keys, copier access, and parking passes.
+ Be a general resource for all direct inquiries from faculty, staff, and students.
+ Process travel reimbursements for a group of faculty via Concur.
+ Serve as the point of contact for questions regarding transaction policy and procedure.
+ Assist in the planning and coordination of department-wide events along with other administrative staff.
+ Assist with onboarding and offboarding of faculty, staff, and students.
Essential Skills
+ 2-3 years of administrative experience
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
+ Comfortable greeting visitors
+ Managing calendars
+ Arranging travel
+ Outlook
Work Environment
This position is 100% on-site, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
