Growing hedge fund located in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking to hire a Temp to Perm Administrative Assistant to support the investment professionals. This position will start January/February 2025, require 5 days in office. Hours 8am- 5:30pm, availability for check emails after hours. The temp duration is approximately three months.

Responsibilities:

Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for 7 analysts: manage extremely active calendar of appointments with utmost sense of urgencyAssist in day-to-day functions with heavy emphasis on calendar management; travel arrangements; expense processing; communication via phone and e-mail; some presentation development; and multi-taskingHandle office operations: meet and greet guests, handle mail, set up lunches, manage conference rooms, restock pantry, etcComposing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes highly confidentialMust also be able to work independently in an executive office, juggling many priorities against tight deadlines in a fast paced, high-energy environment.Demonstrate the highest degree of confidentiality and integrity

Qualifications:

2+ years administrative experience supporting teams. Finance experience required; hedge fund experience highly preferredBA requiredHigh attention to detailOutgoing individual with effective writing, verbal and social skills; understanding needs of senior executive; ability to partner / execute; multi-tasking and prioritizing under pressure; and maintaining confidentiality at all timesStrong Microsoft Office experience

Compensation/Benefits:

Temp rate paid in line with base.$90K-100K base plus bonus (Base DOE)Majority of premiums covered medical benefits. In 2023 they were WFH the last1-2 weeks of August, between Christmas and New Years, the week of Thanksgiving.
