We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Regina District.

 

 

Here's how an Administrative Assistant contributes to our team:

Support day-to day operations by performing administrative tasks for manager, department or team. Answers and directs incoming calls in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Ensuring appropriate document control and compliance through filing, composing, and editing documents and reports for district office.  Developing and maintaining customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders. Answering telephone call and taking messages for manager, department or team members. Assisting with planning meetings and events, including arranging for catering, booking locations, and distributing information.  Arranging travel, hotel, and car reservations and preparing travel itinerary.  Provides assistance with tasks Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote as required. Ordering office supplies for department as requested. Opens, date stamps, sorts and distributes incoming mail. Prepares outbound packages as per senders' requests and receives/distributes incoming couriers. Manages, monitors and is responsible for the general maintenance of the reception area. Supporting mail distribution and courier requests.  Greeting visitors and answering their questions, directing them to meeting rooms, and connecting them with employees. (if applicable)

Job: Reception - Administrative Assistant

Qualifications High school diploma.  Associates or bachelor’s degree, diploma or certificate in office administration program considered an asset.  1 year of experience in an administrative role or equivalent technical experience.  Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.  Ability to multitask and adapt to change.  Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information.  Ability to effectively handle difficult situations and remain calm under pressure.  Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.  Ability to create, edit, proofread, and format documents/presentations.  Basic skills in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and OneNote.
