DreamWorks Animation is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Publicity department executive team.

Job Description

“What would you say you do here?”

Manage calendars for a lively office.

Reserve conference rooms, set meetings

Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, WebEx, Zoom platforms

Maintain media contact lists and project specific lists.

Tracking media coverage; collect press breaks and distribute weekly “DWA In The News” e-blast to studio

Prepare and process P-card expenditures via SNAP; Collect and code PR Department invoices; familiarity with PR Dept budget

Organize travel arrangements and manage/file expense reports.

Coordinate weekly PR Staff meeting; update agenda, take notes

Conduct research as needed to support the department.

Support the PR team with event, conference and shoot logistics 

Serve as an ambassador for the office, the department, and the company.

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

“What do I need to have in order to do this job?”

Minimum one (1) year of Administrative experience in a corporate setting

Strong organizational skills, professionalism, follow-through, and pride in work

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Strong writing skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously balance multiple priorities

Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc.) required

Experience with Windows, Mac OS, FileMaker Pro, and Photoshop a plus

Bachelor degree required

Adept at navigating a segmented and rapid-paced organization

Familiarity with studio operations and culture

 

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
