We are looking for an organized self-starter with a minimum of 5+ years of related experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and follow through is essential. This position requires someone who enjoys a team-oriented environment and who projects a positive demeanor regardless of changes in working conditions. This person is proactive in nature and has an excellent sense of judgment while ensuring work is handled efficiently without the need for constant supervision.
**Description**
- Coordinate meetings and calendars for (2) directors of the department. - Organize new hire set-up which includes ordering equipment, securing office space, and communicating with managers to ensure a smooth start for all new hires. - Purchase and distribute equipment for the engineering team. - Process expense reports, POs and record and track equipment for inventory audits. - Manage conference room calendars and upkeep. - Coordinate/support on-site meetings and events, including room reservations, catering and AV requirements. - Assist in event planning for the entire organization, including working with smaller individualized teams on team building activities. - Manage a floor, which includes ordering and stocking office supplies, snacks, updating floor plans, submitting facilities and maintenance requests and acting as a security guard ensuring the safety of new products.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 5+ years administrative experience (engineering teams preferred) in a high tech environment.
+ Experience supporting executive or director level teams.
+ Must be able to work with little supervision on daily assignments and take initiative in all tasks.
+ Utilize good judgment to make appropriate decisions.

+ Experience supporting larger teams is a plus.
+ Proficiency with iCal, Mail, Keynote and other OS X based office systems a plus.

+ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $34.60 and $61.50/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
