Administrative Assistant
We Are Inspired to Serve. Join us!Part of a nationwide family of Continuing Care Retirement Communities is seeking an Administrative Assistant. This position is responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative duties to support the campus.

In this role, the Administrative Assistant will:Support various departments as needed, including preparation of greeting cards, photocopying, key requests, invoicing, filing, etc.Support the Business Office with the collections process of private pays and insurance co-payments.Complete computer (Word, Excel, Publisher, OneNote) assignments which may include:  preparation of mailings, invoices, mailing lists, memos, and correspondences.Regular updating assistance for resident electronic medical records and assist in the annual updating of resident informationMaintain inventory of facility supplies and distribution, keeping a list of supplies to be ordered and keeping the copier supplies in order for healthcare.Manage rental equipment tracking and returnsMaintain campus contracts and certificates of Insurance & update as necessaryCreate processes and procedures for administrative functions and in a common database.Routine filing of resident information, maintain medical records.Process invoices for final administrative approvalProvide training and support for new initiatives and new receptionists.Special projects as assigned by the administration office.The ideal candidate will have:High school education or equivalent.One year of related office experience providing clerical or administrative support.Experience in healthcare setting.Highly organized, detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written in English.Ability to remain calm in an emergency situation.Complete confidentiality when circulating general informationProficient Microsoft Office Suite.  Must be able to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors and general public and have an interest in and desire to work with older adults.
