On May 1st, 1989, Rich Ackley and a team of talented people pooled their combined 100 years of experience and founded Dalmatian Fire, Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana. On the same day, Rich also opened a branch office in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The second week of Dalmatian’s operations, the company sold an $8,900 tenant finish sprinkler job in Cincinnati. Now, over 27 years later, we have produced in excess of $515 million in fire sprinkler revenue.

**Job Summary**
Dalmatian Fire Protection is looking for a Service Administrative Assistant. This position will be responsible for performing a wide variety of service-related tasks for our Dalmatian Fire Service Team. This position will work closely with customers and additional service team members to coordinate, prioritize, assign, bill, and close all service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Receive customer requests for service in a professional manner, obtaining needed information to dispatch the calls efficiently.
+ Responsible for coordinating, and follow up on deficiency service work orders to manage customer’s expectations and making judgments based on current workloads and priorities.
+ Create job numbers for service projects.
+ Order certificate of insurance for all service and contract projects
+ Assist with processing payroll – approve timesheets and send to payroll. Check for accuracy including job numbers, customer signature, description of work, and vacation time.
+ Follow up on expiring service agreements.
+ Work with customers to the completion of project.
+ Maintain document retention for electronic copies of service acknowledgements, work orders, and inspection reports.
+ Always maintain confidentiality of customer and employer information.
+ Perform or assist with additional tasks as directed.
**Qualifications**
+ This position requires proficiency in computer usage above basic Microsoft Office & Windows Skills. Must be tech savvy.
+ Proven experience in multi-tasking and executing several difficult tasks at once – incoming calls, scheduling, internal personnel, emails, tracking down information, etc.
+ Must be organized, self-motivated and have a strong work ethic.
+ Dispatching or scheduling experience with Technicians, Project Managers, etc.
+ Professionalism in email and over the phone.
+ Must be able to retain training in an organized fashion to be successful.
