Administrative Assistant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Administrative Assistant in Wealth Investment Management. This role is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to management teams, product areas or senior executives. The Administrative Assistant focus specializes in providing administrative and secretarial support for a department or group of individuals or senior executives. Responsibilities may include meeting coordination, supplies and equipment ordering, assistant coordination, payroll for staff eligible for overtime, overtime reports, handling calls and preparing correspondence, establishing and implementing office procedures, and acting as an information source on company policies.


In this role, you will:

Support performance of less experienced Administrative Assistance staff and overall effectiveness of team in performing moderately complex to complex administrative tasks

Be responsible for compiling information, preparing moderately complex reports, and balancing routine general ledger lines or expense accounts

Perform complex administrative, transactional, operational, or customer support tasks

Provide a high level of professional support which includes a balance of more experienced level administrative work as well as ongoing ad hoc and project or business initiatives such as planning meetings, tracking deliverables and pulling routine reports

Assist with selectively referring callers, and answering questions regarding business unit policies and procedures

Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of administrative procedures to less experienced staff

Provide administrative supervision and support to managers in the areas of reporting, customer or business documentation

Interact with immediate Administrative Assistant team, functional area, and internal peers regarding routine administrative tasks

Support more experienced level leaders with daily administrative tasks and interact with more experienced leaders across the organization


In this role, you will:

Support moderately complex administrative tasks

Assist in routine payroll processing, record keeping, and reports preparation

Work closely with both internal and external customers to meet required service needs

Perform moderately complex administrative, transactional, operational, and customer support tasks

Receive direction from supervisors regarding routine administrative process

Provide support in areas of reporting and handling general ledger or expense accounts of a particular business line

Interact with other Administrative Assistants, internal partners, external customers, and experienced level leaders across the organization


Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Administrative Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Concur and Salesforce experience preferred

Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive

Exceptional customer service standards

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and communicate with C-suite external clients, Senior leadership and other team members

Ability to articulate clearly and concisely in both written and oral communication

Ability to multi task and adapt to situations quickly

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responds to requests and inquiries in a timely manner

Works well in a team environment; demonstrates respect and collaboration

Ability and willingness to collaborate with teammates to ensure appropriate support and coverage

Serves as an extension of senior leadership adapting to a culture of partnership, teamwork, results orientation, and professionalism

Demonstrates proficiency with Domestic and International travel

Ability to manage and process reports, maintaining financial efficiencies and reducing costs

Ability to adhere to confidentiality practices and guidelines

Financial services experience.

Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills.

Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment.

Experience supporting multiple managers with calendar management, travel arrangements, scheduling of meetings and events.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$22.36 - $40.19
