Performs administrative duties that may require considerable experience, skill and knowledge of organization policies and practices. May prepare correspondence, memoranda, reports, etc. Screens telephone calls and receives and directs visitors; may resolve routine inquiries. May schedule and maintain calendar of appointments, meetings and travel itineraries and coordinates related arrangements. May prepare and distribute minutes of meetings. Operates a personal computer and appropriate software packages.
Properly handles incoming and outgoing mail. Prepares correspondence, memos, reports, and meeting notes
Maintains and distributes service awards, arranges celebrations
Contributes to plant effectiveness by performing clerical duties such as maintaining department calendars, arranging meetings, teleconferences; maintaining office supplies; account/payable; travel, etc.
Maintains and monitors employee engagement activities
Participates on various committees and teams.
Basic Qualifications (BQs)
Basic computer skills, typing skills and working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications
Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
High School diploma/GED
1 year of administrative experience
Basic clerical and secretarial skills preferred.
