Position Overview The HUBZone Administrator is responsible for supporting the organization’s HUBZone compliance and recruitment efforts. This role focuses on recruiting and retaining employees who meet HUBZone residency requirements, managing personnel files, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting the organization’s overall objectives. Key Responsibilities: + HUBZone Program Administration + Assist with maintaining compliance with HUBZone program regulations and guidelines. + Monitor employee residency requirements and ensure accurate documentation to support HUBZone certification. + Provide administrative support for audits and compliance reviews. + Recruitment and Staffing + Develop and execute strategies to recruit HUBZone-qualified employees to meet program requirements. + Conduct targeted community outreach to identify and attract candidates residing in designated HUBZone areas. + Partner with local organizations, schools, and community groups to develop talent pipelines. + Coordinate participation in job fairs, community events, and networking opportunities to enhance recruitment efforts. + Manage job postings across multiple platforms to attract a diverse pool of applicants. + Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate outreach to ensure qualifications align with organizational needs. + Collaborate with hiring managers to schedule interviews and facilitate onboarding processes. + Focus on recruiting efforts during disaster recovery periods to quickly fill roles critical for recovery support and continuity. Personnel File Management + Create and maintain accurate personnel files, ensuring compliance with federal and organizational policies. + Regularly update employee records to reflect changes in residency, employment status, or other relevant information. + Conduct audits of personnel files to ensure accuracy and completeness. Reporting and Documentation + Support the preparation of reports related to recruitment activities, HUBZone compliance, and employee residency data. + Maintain up-to-date tracking systems and spreadsheets to monitor recruitment and compliance progress. + Ensure timely submission of reports to leadership and external stakeholders. Additional Duties as Assigned + Perform other administrative tasks and projects as required by leadership. + Assist with the development and improvement of recruitment processes and compliance-related procedures. Qualifications:Education and Experience: + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Previous administrative or recruitment experience is a plus but not required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: + Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with applicant tracking systems or databases is a plus. + Willingness to learn and adapt to HUBZone program regulations and organizational procedures.
