**The Opportunity**
As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide advanced administrative support to the Vice President, Treasury and Divisional Vice President, Economics along with other Division Vice Presidents, managers/directors within the function.
**What You’ll Work On**
+ Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
+ Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, spreadsheets and other documents.
+ Coordinate and facilitate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking notes, and following up on action items.
+ Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
+ Maintain office supplies inventory and manage office logistics.
+ May include some support for tracking budget expenditures.
+ Coordinate and maintain departmental files both physical and electronic, in compliance with corporate and government regulations.
+ Use intermediate to advanced software skills to perform work assigned.
+ Use and understand Microsoft Office Suite and other business-specific software; including SAP and Corporate Travel Web site.
+ Coordinate new employee office set-ups and onboarding.
+ Responsible for coordination of Steering Committee meetings with, among other Officers and Suite executives. Including logistics (set-up webcast, verifying connectivity, attendee verification, meeting/ conference room schedules, etc.)
+ Coordinate calendars with potential external (non-Abbott) company executive management teams
+ Create POs and track
**Position Accountability / Scope:**
+ Consistently interacts with high-level executives (including C-Suite interactions).
+ Intermediate to advanced knowledge and understanding of business processes and requirements.
+ Frequently handles highly confidential or business-sensitive information.
+ Maintain and manage calendars, including meeting and travel scheduling.
+ Proactively identifies and resolves scheduling conflicts.
**Required Qualifications**
+ High School diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
+ 10+ years of executive administrative experience is required.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
+ High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
+ Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
+ Proactive thinker

The base pay for this position is $24.80 – $49.60 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
