Description We are on the hunt for a detail-focused Administrative Assistant to join our team within the CPA industry, specifically in Lynnwood, Washington. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our Tax Department, particularly during the busy tax season. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate efficient and clear communication within the team and between accountants and partners.
• Assist in preparing the Tax Department for the upcoming tax season.
• Handle the management and organization of all ongoing projects within the department.
• Update and maintain the project database, ensuring accuracy and easy access.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Provide customer service by answering inbound calls and handling email correspondence.
• Perform data entry tasks and schedule appointments as needed.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word to perform tasks and maintain records.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls as part of customer service. Requirements • Proficient in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service, with the ability to handle queries and complaints in a detail oriented manner.
• Demonstrable ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent skills in email correspondence, with the ability to draft, send and manage detail oriented emails.
• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls, ensuring effective communication with clients.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create, manage and analyse spreadsheets.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Outlook for managing emails, calendars, contacts and tasks.
• Expertise in using Microsoft PowerPoint to create detail oriented and engaging presentations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, with the ability to create, edit and format documents.
