Administrative Assistant

We are looking for an Office Administrative Assistant to facilitate our mission to provide both faculty and students with best-in-class educational tools, by supporting our in-office staff members. We are known as innovators in the Nursing Education market and are constantly looking for new and inventive ways to prepare students for entry-level practice. This position involves anticipating and responding to support the needs that arise every day, understanding that this support allows for a higher level of efficiency for staff, which ultimately benefits our clients.

The candidate will need to be strong in organizing and time-management, as our office often has time-sensitive duties. This position requires the ability to communicate well with employees at all levels. Strong communication skills, as well as flexibility, are a necessity.

**This role would be 5 days in the office**

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Support

Lead office event planning and coordination to ensure proper meeting resources (Catering, AV, Travel Support)

Support special projects such as employee appreciation events and engagement activities in office.

Facilities

Work alongside manager and building facilities manager for special projects and building needs.

Maintain office supplies and equipment.

Maintain office access records of employee’s and visitors.

Maintain organization and inventory of office warehouse.

Maintain office vehicles, oil changes and registration.

Occasional office errands and order pick up as needed.

Shipping and receiving

Maintain meeting rooms onsite, light cleaning and set-up/tear-down

Administrative Support

Data entry and basic research

Customer Service Account Assistance

Vendor invoice processing and follow-up

Project printing across departments as needed


Education: High School Diploma
 

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications: 


Must have a valid and current driver's license.
Ability to life 50lbs.
 

Required:
Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word

Valid and current driver’s license

Strong oral and written communication

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail

Ability to develop understanding of complex processes.

Flexible and Adaptable to changing environment.

Ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to create and document processes as new projects arise

Ability to work before and after hours if necessary for scheduled events

Compensation:

Target salary range CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $45,100 - $61,700
