Administrative Assistant
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Hillsboro, OR. This role is centered around providing administrative support within our client's organization. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing schedules, coordinating meetings, planning events, and maintaining detail-oriented correspondence. Responsibilities: • Effectively manage the Executive Director's calendar to ensure a smooth workflow. • Plan and coordinate meetings, considering the logistics and time constraints. • Coordinate with executives for meeting arrangements. • Take detailed minutes during meetings. • Coordinate and plan events, including reserving spaces as necessary. • Manage agendas for management meetings to ensure efficient discussions. • Maintain a high level of detail orientation due to the visibility of the position. • Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word for email correspondence, data entry, and other administrative tasks. • Provide excellent customer service by resolving customer inquiries promptly and accurately. Requirements • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role. • Demonstrable skills in Customer Service, able to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. • Proficient in Data Entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. • Excellent Email Correspondence capabilities, with strong written communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, including managing mailboxes and coordinating meetings. • Skilled in using Microsoft PowerPoint, able to create and edit presentations. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, capable of creating, editing, and formatting various documents. • Experience in Scheduling Appointments, ensuring that all meetings and engagements are accurately recorded and avoid clashes. • Proven skills in Calendar Management, coordinating schedules and ensuring smooth operations. • Experience in Event Planning, including logistics, vendor management, and coordination.
