Administrative Assistant
$16.73/Hr + based on experience and education
Day shift/10 months per year

Enjoy summers off! If you are a person with strong organizational skills and experience working in a fast-paced office setting, we need you. The right candidate needs to support a positive school environment and be able to coordinate many office functions in the school environment.


Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate school records Communicate with students, staff, families, and public Prepare a variety of written communications Use and maintain Infinite Campus/Food Service program, SmartFinance program, and Frontline Staff Absence Management program. Complete the required reporting and data submissions Manage, collect, and prepare athletic forms, fees, rosters, etc. Manage money and activity funds, maintain accurate records of revenue, expenses and account balances Collect and deposit funds from ticket sales, fundraising events, and student organization activities. Assist coaches, advisors, and staff with budget planning and expenditure tracking. Manage financial transactions, including invoices, vendor payments, and supply orders. Coordinate financial aspects of extracurricular events, including ticket sales, payments, reimbursements, purchase orders and cash handling procedures. Prepare financial summaries for events and reconcile funds collected. Other duties assigned by the principal and superintendent.

Requirements:

Proficiency with (or ability to learn) Google applications, Microsoft Office, financial software, spreadsheets, school software systems (Infinite Campus, Frontline, SmartER) and standard office equipment such as copiers, faxes, etc. Possess and demonstrate excellent human relations Display proficiency in time management, organizational abilities, problem solving and self-motivated Initiative Demonstrate ability to multitask in an environment that can be fast paced Knowledge of (or ability to learn) general policies, procedures, and legal requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma required Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Successful previous relevant experience in financial record keeping or bookkeeping preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

$16.73/Hr + based on experience and education Direct Hire 10 month position, with summers off Comprehensive benefits package available
