Mission Statement
Amentum provides field, range, testing, chemical, and biological laboratory support to the U.S. Army at the West Desert Test Center (WDTC) located at Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), UT. As a major test site for the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, the WDTC is responsible for the test and evaluation of chemical and biological (CB) defense systems, incendiary and smoke/obscuration munitions systems, and related operational concepts.
In addition to these responsibilities, we also support non-CB testing at the WDTC for the DOD and other Federal agencies, including environmental assessment/impact evaluation and munitions demilitarization.
Our Dugway Operation was established in 2004 with the award of the Field, Range, Chamber, and Laboratory Support Services (FRC&LSS) contract to Amentum. Through the FRC&LSS contract, we have integrated with Mellor Engineering, TOPE, and JRAD with a composite staff size of more than 170 personnel.

We are looking for a master multi- tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. The successful candidate for Administrative Assistant should have five (5) years of practical experience in such areas as purchasing, making travel arrangements and processing expense reports. Must be able to work independently within prescribed limits with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Perform day to day Accounts Payable functions in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices. Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies. Audit and process credit card bills Address and respond to vendor inquiries. Perform monthly reconciliations. Reconcile accounts payable packets to check/ ACH runs. Create and process Miscellaneous Purchase Requisitions.
Travel Coordination
Serve as primary point of contact for all travel arrangements and e-expense reports. Prepare estimates of travel costs and obtain internal and KOR approval to proceed with booking travel. Book Travel for all members. Create expense reports. Maintain and organize travel related documentation.
Provide a broad range of pre-award, award, and post-award purchasing/subcontract management functions and support a diverse group of customers in areas such as buying, negotiating, advisory and assistant services, mission planning, and technical support services orders/subcontracts.
Provide support for commodities and services purchases, conduct price analysis, review sole source and brand name justification for accuracy and completeness and recommend orders for award. Responsible for accurate purchase requisition processing in accordance with the SALTT Purchasing Manual.
Required Clearance\: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Regular hours will be between Monday-Thursday 7\:00 a.m. – 5\:30 p.m. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.Other Essential Functions
Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management. Must perform work activities requiring interaction, negotiating, instructing, supervising, persuading or speaking with others. Must be able to work under supervision and respond appropriately and professionally to criticism from a supervisor.
Attendance - Must be able to work within the shift hours of 7\:00 a.m. to 5\:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday at Dugway Proving Ground. May be required to work long and unusual hours based on business needs.
With the exception of STD/LTD/FMLA & approved time off, attendance is considered essential.
Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines.
