The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support and coordinates activities for specific individuals or teams, ensuring efficient office functioning through a range of responsibilities. Under moderate supervision, job provides an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the success of daily operations for employees of all levels.

TIAA seeks an Administrative Assistant professional to join our team in our Lexington, KY office supporting professionals within the business area of Wealth Management operational day-to-day duties. All tasks, responsibilities and assignments must be completed with the highest level of quality following regulatory procedures (FINRA).

Although limited experience is required, candidates will be working closely with both internal and external clients, so teamwork is a must. The ideal candidate possesses a curiosity to learn the business and be comfortable providing administration support to internal partners.

Preferred experience

2+ years of administrative support experience strongly preferred

Experience in booking travel

Able to multi-task and produce in a fast paced, team oriented environment

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills

Ability to effectively interact and respond to employee, leaders, and clients with the highest degree of discretion and tact

Excellent technology application skills (Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)

Detail oriented

Strong ownership mentality

Base Pay Range: $22.13/hr. - $40.63/hr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
