Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to provide administrative services and secretarial assistance at an ABB's Mebane, NC manufacturing facility. Each day, you will perform complex administrative tasks. You will also showcase your expertise by taking ownership of delivering specific business processes/programs.The work model for the role is onsite (#LI-Onsite).This role will mainly support the Manufacturing Unit Manager in Mebane as well as his senior leadership team members.You will be mainly accountable for:- Assisting the Manufacturing Unit Manager in all business-relevant administration tasks, such as conducting research, compiling, verifying the information, and creating special reports, presentations, organization charts, correspondence, and other relevant documents.- Welcoming and checking in customers and guests to the facility, giving them excellent customer service.- Acting as the point of contact for internal/external inquiries via phone and email, assessing the urgency of issues, and initiating appropriate action.- Arranging business-critical internal/external events, including arranging travel, developing itineraries, booking accommodation, registering for conferences, and coordinating with visiting speakers, among other tasks.
Qualifications for the roleHigh School Diploma or equivalent (associated degree preferred)One (1) or more years of related experience in an administration or production support role Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Excellent organizational skills Coordination of meeting rooms, refreshments, and logistics for guestsStrong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage visitor check-ins and direct them appropriately.Ability to interact with executives, employees, and external visitors professionally.Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and helpful attitude.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
