Administrative Assistant - Administration - Full Time
Position Summary: Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to an individual, team, department, or group in an organization. Collects, reviews, and analyzes data and prepares reports, charts, budgets, and other presentation materials utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, or specialized software. May prepare and distribute reports or other communications on a regular schedule. Maintains files, databases, and archives of relevant records. Additionally, Administrative Assistant screens calls and responds to or routes routine inquiries from external or internal sources with appropriate correspondence or other messaging. Schedules and coordinates meetings, travel, and other group activities. May manage expense reporting, invoicing, office supply inventory, or other routine processes. Education, License & Cert: High School or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred. Experience: The Administrative Assistant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Minimum of two years of increasingly responsible secretarial experience. Must have the ability to work well under pressure, exercise independent judgement, and maintain composure and a pleasant attitude. Experience working with highly confidential information and sensitive information is required. Essential Functions: 1. Performs general office duties including answering telephones, preparing reports, and maintaining files and managing Sr staff calendars . 2. Drafting documents and correspondence. 3. Superb organizational skills. 4. Excellent verbal and written skills. 5. Able to provide support to staff. 6. Schedule and project management duties within the home Health realm. 7. Exceptional follow-through skills needed. 8. Assumes duties of daily home health operations per Director. Other Duties: 1. Travel for this position is rarely required. 2.
