Administrative Assistant - Clinical Admin - Day Location: York Hospital, York, PA Schedule: Full Time General Summary Performs diversified and confidential administrative duties. Requires an intermediate degree of technical and communications/interpersonal skills, knowledge, and ability. May administer/coordinate programs, projects, and/or processes as assigned. Shift Full Time, Days M-F Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions: + Composes from dictation and documents memorandums, policies, committee minutes, manuals, letters, forms, procedures, and other general typing as directed, initiating other correspondence as appropriate. + Answers telephones, routes callers, takes messages and provides routine information to callers. + Schedules appointments; maintains and updates daily calendar(s). + Schedules, coordinates and/or arranges meetings, appointments and/or facilities. Attends meetings and records minutes, as required. + Collects information needed by leader or team for conferences and/or reports. + Sets up and maintains files and records which may contain confidential information. + Takes and transcribes dictation of a highly confidential nature. + Compiles data for and prepares regularly scheduled or special reports, analyzes and statements. + Enters and/or retrieves data from established computer files or cloud-based systems using knowledge of various computer software applications. + Opens and routes incoming mail; distributes correspondence and other material to staff. + Administers/coordinates programs, projects, and/or processes as assigned. Common Expectations: + Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment and safety standards. + Maintains professional growth and development. + Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation. + The following are nonessential job accountabilities for ADA purposes: + Makes travel and lodging arrangements directly or through travel agencies. + Prepares PO payment requests as directed. + Orders office supplies as necessary. + Greets and directs visitors.
