About this RoleBrink Constructors, Inc.
Provides administrative support to the DOT (Department of Transportation) team. Assists HR in onboarding of new hire employees and maintaining current employee files relating to motor vehicle reports and other DOT items. Completes additional duties as needed.
Location:
This full -time position will work from our Rapid City, South Dakota corporate office with typical working hours of Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
Pay:
This is an non-exempt/hourly position. The pay range is $20-25/hour. Pay may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
What You'll Do Assists new hires in creating NECS files, clearinghouse and query permissionsProcess clearinghouse queriesDaily NECS checks on new hire status, accuracy, and completion of new hire driving filesCreate in house driver files for employeeSubmit records to TelogisReview motor vehicle report results, NECS documents, and provide timely updates on trackersAssist employees with self-certification and DOT medical cards, submits to applicable stateUpkeep of spreadsheets with any restrictions, expiration datesContact employees and new hires by phone, e-mail, text to gather all necessary documentsUpdate NECS with any terminations, new hires, or offboarded candidatesComplete previous employer DOT VOE'sComplete and sign annual review of driving recordsTPA updates of new hires, terminations, and random drug screen pool categoriesAdvise staff of quarteryl random drug screensSet up clinic appointments for random drug screensPerforming Administrative Activities — Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.Getting Information — Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.Fluent in Microsoft Office - Excel proficiency is a mustAnswers any incoming calls from new hires and current employeesUpdate and maintain databasesRetrieve information when requestedType documents, reports and correspondenceOther duties as needed What You'll Bring
