The Administrative Assistant for Disability Resources Logistics plays a vital role in providing essential administrative support to the reduced distraction testing center and Disability Resources. Supervised by the Director of Disability Resources, the role is integral to maintaining a student-focused, fast-paced, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
This position’s work schedule will be 11:00 am - 7:30 pm.
Core responsibilities include:
Testing Center Operations- including among others, providing reception coverage as needed; coordinating the comprehensive schedule and assignment of proctored exams for students with related accommodations, ensuring confidentiality; overseeing exam preparation, proctoring, collection and pick-up; communicating with faculty and actively monitoring proctoring-related communications.Testing Center Administrative Duties- including among others, managing supply inventory and ordering; coordinating sign language interpreting, captioning schedules and video captioning processing; invoice processing in coordination with the Success Center Operations team; managing requests for accessible course materials; supporting the Director of Disability Resources with document, form, slide deck preparation and other administrative tasks; overseeing camera management software; maintaining records and data management of confidential materials, case notes, and exam materials in the web-based system; coordinating facility needs of the testing center.Student Academic Success Center and Campus Engagement- Participation in all team meetings, trainings, workshops, and representing Disability Resources and/or the Success Center at campus events and activitiesService to the University- Participation and volunteering for university wide events and activities. Participate in training, workshops, committee involvement, and general campus activities.
