Administrative Assistant for Executive

Corteva Agriscience is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant supporting the President of North America Commercial. Under their general supervision, this position is responsible for meeting & event planning, time & calendar management, travel arrangements, invoicing, expense reporting, assisting with other administrative tasks, and fielding various questions.  The Administrative Assistant’s responsibilities will encompass support for two executives, the President of the North America Commercial Unit, ~80% of time, and the Vice President of a U.S. Commercial Unit, ~20% of time. We are looking for candidates who take initiative, love to learn, work hard, and have excellent communication skills.

What You’ll Do:

Support and coordinate meetings (Leadership Team, Town Hall, and others), including organization of invites and agendasEnsure smooth operations and efficient time management for executives by handling complex scheduling and maintaining/updating calendarsBook travel and process travel expense reportsPrepare correspondence, documents, presentations, and invoicesPrepare reports and coordinate campaigns, including safety, ethics, and complianceTrack expenses and be able to provide assistance with Operating and Capital budgetsServe as focal point for Indianapolis 308-Building, 3rd floor and cross-site N.A. Commercial eventsServe on company committees and teams to provide administrative supportOther tasks as requested

What Skills You Need:

Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Business Administration, office management or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required8-10 years' experience as an administrative professionalStrong interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain effective relationships Demonstrate problem-solving skills with ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactively, think critically, find solutions, and work under pressureTech-savvy and power user of Microsoft office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) Strong communication skills both written and verbal, interacting effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders/customersAbility to establish trust and credibility within the organization and to maintain and protect confidential informationAbility to work independently and exercise sound judgment in ongoing workProficient time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meeting deadlinesAbility to lead and work effectively as part of a teamExposure to project management skills including the development, implementation and management of business projects and proceduresAttention to detail to ensure accuracy and professionalism

This position is required to be onsite three (3) days a week (T/W/TH) and can be remote two (2) days a week (M/F).
