**Summary**
_Summary:_
The Administrative Assistant performs administrative and clerical functions for the Administrative Services Department and provides support for the corporate office as needed.
**Responsibilities**
_Duties and Responsibilities:_
+ Support the Administrative Services Team and other employees in both administrative and clerical endeavors.
+ Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring proper filing systems and easy retrieval of information.
+ Maintain and update various lists, records, and files using Excel, SharePoint or other databases assuring data is retrievable and properly archived.
+ Perform filing duties as required.
+ Assist in processing invoices for payment to various vendors or entities.
+ Provide back-up support for Receptionist duties as needed.
+ No Supervisory Responsibilities
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**

+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
+ Knowledge of basic accounting skills.

+ Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of staff using discretion and diplomacy.
+ Able to plan, priorities and organize own work, and to use initiative in solving problems.

+ A dedication to preserving information and materials.
+ Adept typing, word-processing, and data entry skills.
+ Ability to read and understand a wide range of materials.
+ Research and critical thinking skills.

+ The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
+ During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
