**Job Summary**
Silver Club Memory Programs is on one of the Community Health Services Programs located at the Turner Senior Resource Center (2401 Plymouth Rd). Silver Club provides activities and socialization for individuals with mild to moderate dementia. This position is a client facing position, and must be able to deescalate situations, We are looking for someone to join our team with client coordination skills and desire to work with older adults with dementia and their families.
This position is in-person. Hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm.

**Responsibilities***
+ Support general office operations, including preparing the office for each mild and moderate loss program
+ Assist with onboarding new clients
+ Serve as a main point of contact for clients, their support networks, and volunteers
+ Maintain client records and update yearly information
+ Conduct wellness checks with clients and follow up with their emergency contacts
+ Assist with responding to phone and email inquiries regarding Silver Club's services
+ Provide support for the daily programming activities, including serving lunch, as needed
+ Order and maintain office supplies for the program activities
+ Prepare client invoices
+ Train and supervise volunteers
+ Publish Silver Club's monthly newsletter
+ Assist with Silver Club's program evaluation
+ Assist with Community Outreach and Marketing of Silver Club's programs
+ Assist with special projects and events
+ May assist with personal care with clients, as needed
+ Works under general supervision
+ Other duties as assigned
**Required Qualifications***
+ 5 years or more experience providing administrative support in similar job roles (Less than 5 years' experience for Associate level)
+ Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
+ Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills in person, on the phone and electronically
+ Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete tasks accurately and thoroughly
+ Physical ability to lift and carry a minimum of twenty (20) pounds
+ Experience working with older adults and/or persons with disabilities
+ Experience effectively deescalating situations
**Desired Qualifications***
+ Associates degree or higher
+ Experience working directly with older adults and family caregivers
+ Critical thinking skills that will lead to quality improvements and increase efficiency
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Skilled in organization, multitasking, and prioritizing tasks
+ Experience tracking and conducting work in accordance with grant requirements
+ Strong computer skills, including being highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
+ Experience working in databases and online survey software (preferably Forms, and Qualtrics)

**Underfill Statement**
This position may be underfilled at a lower classification (Administrative Assistant Associate) depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
**Background Screening**
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
