Administrative Assistant
Temporary Position
This position will provide primary administrative support to the Safety Department for a company that manufactures wood products. We are seeking an individual who is committed to safety, has a positive attitude, and excellent work ethic. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who shows initiative, is a team player and will function as an assistant to this management team. The Administrative Assistant must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, multi-tasking skills and be an effective communicator.
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Temporary position, part-time 20 hours per week
Essential Functions and Duties: Provide administrative support to several people and projects Prepare materials for reports using various software applications Maintain or create different detailed records, tracking systems and files Interact with manufacturing/operations personnel in the production and finish end departments to obtain information related to safety protocols/standards Maintain confidential files and handle confidential information Manage multiple priorities efficiently
Education/Experience: Minimum of 3 years of equivalent administrative support work experience Proficient in the use of computer software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Willingness and ability to wear all required personal protective equipment
