Administrative Assistant to VP and GM

Your key responsibilities include: • Coordinating meetings and conferences, ensuring all logistics are meticulously arranged\. • Assists with travel arrangements and expense reporting\. • Composing reports, correspondence, and memorandums using personal computers and standard desktop software\. • Reviewing drafts and final documents for grammar, formatting, and adherence to policies\. • Providing accurate responses to inquiries about office operations and established policies and procedures\. • Offering guidance and direction to lower\-level secretaries and clerical staff as needed\. • Organizing and maintaining alphabetical, numerical, and subject files to ensure easy access to critical information\. • Managing communications, including screening callers, making referrals, and processing incoming and outgoing mail\. **WHO WE ARE** Lockheed Martin is a global leader in technology, innovation, and engineering\. Together, we’ll create a future filled with possibility and progress\. **Basic Qualifications:** • Demonstrated professional presence • Experience supporting executive level leaders and managing complex calendars • Proficient with Office 365 specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams platform • Ability to handle multiple tasks and lead projects, meeting or exceeding expectation\. • Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion • Ability to effectively partner with division executive office, and their administrative staff members •Must be flexible to support intermittent extended work hours, when needed, and work independently and execute projects with minimal supervision\. • Demonstrated ability to act effectively as an ambassador for the site General Manager\. **Desired Skills:** \- Experience creating executive\-level presentations \- Experience assisting with event planning and logistics \- Experience with effectively operating audio/video equipment typically used to conduct virtual meetings\. \- Experience in arranging meal catering for meetings and events **Clearance Level:** None **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\. **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\. **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week **Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $59,000 \- $113,000\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\.
