Position OverviewKiewit is seeking a Payroll/Billing Specialist to join the team in Mt. Pleasant, WI. The primary focus of this role is to provide a wide range of administrative and payroll services. To execute this role effectively the assistant should have a high degree of situational awareness and be technically proficient, able to work independently, proactive, flexible, adaptable, self-motivated, and a team player. This position requires having the ability to work effectively in a complex and demanding environment while maintaining a professional attitude and demeanor. Continually requires a high degree of autonomy. The role necessitates collaborating with multiple projects and departments.

LocationThis is an onsite position in Mt. Pleasant, WI. This position requires being on an active construction site.
Qualifications At least 3+ years of experience in an administrative role. Prior payroll experience preferred; Experience reviewing/auditing data for accuracy. Highly flexible and able to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. Be highly organized with exceptional time management skills. Attention to detail with ability to recognize discrepancies; ability to spot and anticipate problems and seek solutions. Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, sometimes with minimal guidance. Requires skills in using computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet navigation, e-mail, and calendars. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn and adapt to new programs and processes. Must be flexible to take on new duties as they arise. Be able to lift 15-20 pounds (office supplies, cases of paper). Responsibilities Demonstrates understanding of the accounts payable process workflow and is able troubleshoot payment or vendor issues. Performs weekly payroll verification. Process time and payroll-related requests such as pay additions/changes, cost moves, time/PTO entry, sick leave, overtime rules setup, cost code corrections, etc. Understands the payroll and HR process workflows. Masters the systems used to properly hire, transfer, terminate, and pay all employees. Performs basic clerical functions such as filing, copying, and data entry. Manage assigned workflows to ensure timely processing of vendor invoices. Process a high volume of invoices with accuracy. Process expense reports, invoices, and orders. Perform clerical tasks including data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning, etc. Perform other administrative duties as required or assigned. Serve as a back-up to other office administrative staff. #LI-LH1Other Requirements:
