Overview The Administrative Chief of Staff (CoS) is a strategic partner and key advisor to senior leadership at UF Health, serving as a central point of coordination for executive-level initiatives, organizational planning, and high-priority operations. This role is responsible for driving alignment across teams, facilitating decision-making processes, and ensuring the successful execution of enterprise-wide priorities in a complex and fast-paced academic health system environment. Responsibilities Strategic Coordination & Alignment Facilitate enterprise-wide execution of strategic initiatives by partnering with executive leaders and promoting alignment across UF Health entities. Direct the system change management function in collaboration with the Transformation Management Office. Monitor progress and ensure accountability for follow-through on strategic decisions. Provide mentorship to administrative fellows, interns, and early-career professionals. Executive Office Operations Optimize the administrative functions of the EVP’s office, including executive briefings, correspondence, and calendar management. Manage priorities and information flow to support efficient decision-making by the EVP. Governance & Planning Support Lead the preparation of materials and presentations for the Board of Directors and senior leadership. Drive coordination of strategic planning cycles, annual goal setting, and performance monitoring across the enterprise. Special Projects & Enterprise Initiatives Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives by providing executive oversight and project management. Support system integration and organizational transformation initiatives across departments, regions, and affiliates. Liaison & Communication Serve as the EVP’s delegate to internal stakeholders, university partners, and community leaders. Promote effective, timely communication of enterprise priorities and executive directives. Qualifications Master’s degree in health administration, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related discipline required. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience within a complex healthcare, academic, or public sector environment. Experience in an executive advisor, chief of staff, or similar strategic leadership role preferred. Skills and Competencies: Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise initiatives and influence across complex, matrixed organizations. Exceptional project management and organizational skills. Strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and a bias for execution. High level of discretion and professionalism in managing sensitive matters. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
