The Equity Research Coordinator provides project and team support to multiple research analyst teams. Contact with a wide variety of people while working independently on tasks that are moderately complex in nature. Position requires knowledge of the department’s overall functions, policies, procedures or services of the Research department. Work is generally of a confidential nature. As an Administrative Coordinator, Equity Research, you may:
Coordinate and administer projects, monitor and report upon progress, manage accountabilities and deliverables.
Compile and present necessary industry information from Bloomberg, FactSet, and other industry sources.
Create and maintain moderate-to-advanced excel documents, including but not limited to financial models.
Assist with database needs, which may involve direct data entry, use of programs for uploading, organizing and manipulating the data in Excel.
Assist with various analytical projects; prepare PowerPoint presentations for internal and external audiences and maintain related documents. Assist with the preparation of surveys; gathering information from various sources, websites, businesses, etc.
Performs word processing and spreadsheet applications of moderate complexity; prepares reports, presentations, and numerical data from verbal or written instructions, drafts, and/or notes.
Develops and edits marketing books, including updating data files, creating charts, and final product production.
Ability to tolerate peak workloads, to deal with constant interruptions and to maintain flexibility and composure in a high-volume, high-intensity, hectic environment.
Must be able to handle heavy workload for a number of Research Analysts simultaneously and prioritize assignments accordingly. Ability to work limited overtime is required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
