Administrative Coordinator, Visiting Education - Global Health Coordinating Center (GHCC)

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; 3 years related experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in administrative support, preferably in a healthcare or academic setting. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in documentation and scheduling. Ability to handle unexpected situations and provide solutions efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and contribute to a positive work environment. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Understanding of healthcare operations, medical terminology, and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Preferred Education Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Public Health. Concentration in Global Health.

Job Description:

To provide professional guidance, supervision, and coordination in the administrative duties of a department.

Job Duties:

The Administrative Coordinator for the Global Health Coordinating Center is designed to support the Director in the seamless execution of departmental functions. This position demands a high level of attention to detail, superb organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across clinical, research, and academic departments. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the administration of educational agreements and facilitate effective communication and coordination among various stakeholders.

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and preparing materials. Draft, review, and manage foreign educational agreements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. Serve as a liaison between the Global Health department and clinical, research, and academic programs, fostering effective collaboration and communication. Organize and coordinate departmental events, seminars, and workshops. Maintain detailed and accurate records of departmental activities, agreements, and communications. Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required. Ensure compliance with institutional policies and procedures. Maintain and update databases.

Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and as needed on occasion.
