Our client, a prestigious university located in Cambridge, MA, is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join the Residential Life team on a temporary basis. This is a full-time, onsite role, compensating $28 per hour. This role involves managing and coordinating various programs, projects, or events, ensuring their smooth operation by creating and implementing necessary administrative systems. The candidate will be responsible for providing information to customers, participants, and academic collaborators, as well as preparing and maintaining essential records, reports, and budgets. They may also manage a website or program materials, requiring proficiency in common office software and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have administrative management experience, excellent multitasking and communication skills, and a comfort with new software tools, particularly in a college environment. General Duties:
Coordinates and manages programs, projects, or events.Creates and implements systems to manage assigned responsibilities.Serves as the primary contact for inquiries from customers, participants, and collaborators.Prepares and maintains records, reports, budgets, and plans.May manage program websites or materials.Candidate Requirements:
2 to 3 years of related experience.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to plan, prioritize, and track work effectively.Basic proficiency in common office software.Experience with multitasking and organizational skills.Administrative management experience, ideally in a college environment.Willingness to learn new software platforms (e.g., EMS Roombook).
